Happy New Year, everyone! Just got back from our Christmas vacation late last night (flight got in around 10pm). We were all BEAT, but we had a great time visiting with family. The kids were very sad to leave Papa and Nana behind, but they know we'll see them again soon - probably during spring break.
Since I don't have much of a functioning brain right now (and LOADS of laundry won't make it any better), I'll take up the challenge offered by my dear friend, Marcia (fellow Scrappin' Biker Babe from Provo) who "tagged" me via her blog. So, here's my recap of 2005...
JANUARY
1. Did you have a new year's resolution this year? Yes...now ask if I kept it (no).
2. Who kissed you at midnight? DH...we spent a quiet evening at his parents' home during vacation.
3. Did it snow where you live? Yes, we got quite a bit of snow here (for here).
4. Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop? No...and no real inclination to do so, actually.
5. Big January Events: Family Bdays.
FEBRUARY
1. Who was your valentine? DH.
2. What did your valentine get you? Gee, I don't recall...flowers, I think.
3. When you were little, did you buy valentines for your whole class? Of course! Those cute little ones that tuck into tiny envelopes.
4. Big February Events: More family bdays.
MARCH
1. Are you Irish? A teeny, tiny bit (dad's side).
2. Did you wear green on St. Patty's Day? Yes, I actually did!
3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day? Nothing out of the ordinary.
4. Big March Events:
APRIL
1. Do you like the rain? I enjoy it, especially when I'm indoors and don't have to deal with going to work.
2. Did you play an April Fool's joke on anyone this year? Nope.
3. Big April Events: Sadly, the loss of my dad. My bro flying to see dad before he passed away and getting to spend some time with us.
MAY
1. What's your favorite kind of flower? Roses! And they happen to be my birth flower, too.
2. Do you like the spring? But of course. Who wouldn't? Especially after the cold winter months.

San Francisco (the Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, cable cars), Monterey Bay Area (Salinas, Cannery Row, Carmel by the Sea), and Sacramento (Old Sac, visiting my lil bro).

AUGUST
1. Did you do anything special to end your summer?Enjoyed the time off before my little one started school.
2. What was your favorite summer memory of '05? CKU-A Provo. Another fun-filled time with lots of my scrapping buddies. Our dorm (Scrappin Biker Babes) won the best song/cheer performance! It was an awesome experience. And I made some wonderful lifetime friends from all over the world as a SBB.
3. Did you go swimming a lot in the summer? Not too much...just the Court Club.
Big August Events: CKU-A (of course); my youngest starting kindergarten; getting my promotion at work.

1. Did you attend school/college in '05? No, thank goodness.

2. Have you ever been kissed under mistletoe? Yes

4. How would you rate your year on a scale of 1-10? 8
5. Big December Events: Having our in-laws fly up to watch DD dance in Nutcracker, going to their place for the holidays.
So, now it's time for me to "tag" someone else, right...? Okay, I peeked at a few of my gal-pals' blogs and saw that Becca doesn't seem to have been tagged on this one yet. So, Becca...you're it!
