Week One of Summer Vacay

One full week of vacation for the kids. It's been busy for all of us.

Samantha had her end-of-year dance recital on Saturday. We spent the bulk of the day there, between rehearsal, the company picnic, and the actually recital performance. She did a great job in all of her numbers (ballet, jazz, musical theatre and pointe demo). She always enjoys time spent with her dance friends.

One of Nicholas' baseball buds invited him to a basketball camp this past week (two hours per day). I think he really had a great time, and it turned out that he saw 3-4 other baseball players at the same camp. Guess athletes all congregate together.

And this week is the first of four baseball tournaments for Nicholas' All Star team. They won their first game, 20-7, and this morning's game, 8-2. They have another game tomorrow morning, then the top team from the 3 brackets plus one at-large team will move to the championship round on Sunday.

We have a graduation to attend tonight (our flowergirl is receiving her A.A. diploma). Then we have birthday (mine) and Father's Day to celebrate tomorrow and Sunday.

Busy, busy, busy!
