Happy Easter!

Sorry for the "day late" post but we didn't get home until last night from our trip to the OR coast. What a wonderful time we had. Spent the time with Cindy and her family in a little house not far from the beaches. It was a very nice place. Quiet (which is great for sleeping) and had all the amenities you could ask for. Heck! There was even a puter in the master bedroom. We decided not to access it, but Thomas had his laptop and tried to log onto the Net. Dial up...big mistake! Took forever to get anything to load. We finally just gave up. But otherwise, a great trip.

Spent Thursday and Friday at the beaches. Great weather. A little foggy in the a.m., but that's to be expected on the coast (spoken like a true NorCal gal)! When the sun burned through, it was great. Sure, the water was cold (isn't the Pacific always cold?...) but it didn't deter the kids from frolicking in the waves (brrrr! ). Even got in some kite flying and sand castle building.

Got to meet up with one of my former Jungle friends, Rachel, and her too-cool DH, Bob. We got to visit on the beach then meet up again for dinner. Lots of great conversation and company. They even told us about a cool fort up north that we treked to on Saturday... But that was after we hit a great LSS (that'd be local scrapbook store for my non-scrappin friends). Found some great new stuff, including all the new Li'l Davis chipboard. Good thing that I'm on top of this cuz I asked the gals "I see all the chipboard, but where's the coordinating papers?" Turns out, they split the order with another store. Only problem? This store never got their half of the papers. Now they know...which didn't help me a lick cuz the other store is 6+ hours away! Oh well. I did get some fun chipboard and papers and ribbons and flowers (my Secret Sister is gonna be lovin' me)!

And yes, the Bunny found us on Sunday. The kids' baskets were plum-full of candy and toys and a big bunny! And we had a wonderful Easter brunch at a local restaurant. All kinds of goodies to eat. Ham, bacon, sausage, shrimp, tenderloin, chicken kabobs, egg casserole, real Crab Benedict (yummmm!), fresh fruits, and TONS of pastries/desserts! And the pricetag was a mere $14.95 per adult! What a feast and relaxing way to spend out last meal before we headed towards home.
