Happy belated birthday...

to the good ole U.S. of A. No photos this year. We just took it easy. Had a great BBQ at Cindy's house. Great food, great company, a relaxing time. Then, instead of watching fireworks over the river, we opted to see them across the river by the stadium. Boy, it was a much nicer, closer, better view than we usually have. Didn't hurt that the temps were milder and not melting us. We'll have to do the 4th there again next year.

Decided I should share some photos taken on my birthday. Nope, not of me. These are of Nicholas at his second baseball tournament. He's been having a great time, playing ball, being with friends, enjoying himself. And he's been improving his game with each passing week. Here's one of Nicholas on second base. The intensity on his face pretty much says it all.












And here are a couple of him doing what he does best...pitching. For one so young, he's one of the more accurate pitchers we've seen. May not throw as hard or fast just yet, but that'll come in due time.
