The weather has been rather ugly as of late. Between clouds and rain, possibility of snow, wind, wind, and more wind, I'm more than anxious for spring (and spring weather) to arrive. We got the sun today, but the wind is accompanying it.
Lots of things have been happening over the course of the past month. Samantha keeps dancing away as the dancers prepare for their Spring performance. She will be dancing in several pieces -- some with fellow Senior Company dancers, one with the Intermediate Company.
Baseball season is getting ready to start. Mat was asked to assistant coach with for one of the Majors teams, which also makes Nick that coach's (Jeff's) first draft pick. Actually, Nick became THE first pick of the draft since his new coach had THE first pick. The draft is tomorrow night. For now, we know he'll be playing with three returning 12 year olds (one being Jeff's son). The rest of the team will be determined tomorrow night. Fingers crossed that the cards will fall as Mat and Jeff hope, and that the players they would like to have on our team are available each time their draft picks roll around.
