And there's a fairy in our midst!

They posted the Company roles for this year's Nutcracker and Samantha was thrilled to learn she will be a fairy! No more mouse for this dancer. Apparently, there will be 2 sets of fairies (Fairy #1's and Fairy #2's). She's a #2 kinda fairy. It looks like it's a costume thing. Fairy #1s are smaller dancers. So, Samantha (being of the tall fairy variety) will be in something a little different. I recall there being "big wing" fairies in the past (could this be #2?). And her BF's sister was a fairy last year (with smaller wings). Maybe there are more fairies than meets the eye. We'll have to wait and see. But for now, fairies are the coolest!
